Join Astar Explorer as a part-time or full-time teacher for a rewarding career in childhood education.
Astar Explorer is a daycare, preschool and STEM learning center in Fair Oaks Mall providing children ages 2 – 14 years old with play-based, STEM interactive daycare, birthday parties and educational classes for children.
We are currently looking for Mandarin, Math, Robotic, and 3D Printing teachers who are essential members of the team and are responsible for supervising the children throughout the center and executing daily activities and STEM classes. Teachers are expected to create a positive, inspirational, and engaging experience for the students.
Instructors should meet the following preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with children (at least 1 year teaching setting preferred)
- Ability to manage groups of children & maintain a high-quality classroom setting, bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Comfort interacting with parents & children
- US Citizen or have a legally working visa (We would sponsor the qualified teachers with a US Working VISA.)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Schedule: Day shift

Little Explorer Daycare Program
Little Explorer is designed for students who are between 2 and 6 years old. At Astar, we focus on children’s educational experience, guided by their interests, through investigation, problem-solving and cooperation.
- In this program, we offer part-time, full-time and drop-in care service. Parents can choose flexibly.

Weekend Class Program
Art Club
We offer handcraft and painting classes for all ages. We also teach how to paint with watercolor, acrylic and more! Subject will have a STEM focus, also combine with social study, history, etc. Every week students can create their own masterpieces.
Class Schedule: Saturday 11am-12pm
Class price: $17/Per Class (45minutes-1 hour)
Registration fee: $25 (One-time fee upon enrollment applies to all weekend classes)

Science Class
Students will explore different areas of the life and physical sciences, including biology, chemistry, physics and engineering as well as teacher led experiments.

Coding Class
This course will introduce students to the world of coding through Ozobot’s color coding feature. Students will establish basic knowledge of coding concepts like sequential thinking, syntax, and debugging. Color coding Ozobot helps students overcome coding obstacles through tangible forms.

Class price: $20/Per Class (45minutes-1 hour)

This program promises to be an exciting one, filled with new learning experiences and challenges. We are very happy to be part of one of those new challenges. Students will learn: Number, Colors, calendar, letters, basic conversations and more from native speaker teacher.

Class price: $15/Per Class (45minutes-1 hour)

Camp Program
Spring Break Camp
Astar Explorer STEM Academy offers a day camp during spring break holiday for children ages 2-12. The camp is held at 11750 Fair Oaks Mall from 8:00am – 6:00pm. We offer flexible drop off and pick up times for parents who do not need children in attendance for the 8-hour day.
The daily schedule includes Science, Math, Language, Coding, Arts and Crafts, indoor activities and Yoga. Children need to bring a bag lunch and drinks to camp each day. We offer two snacks daily.
