A New Session of Math Essentials, Starting the Week of November 16, 2020

With the first quarter of the school year complete, are you satisfied with your child’s progress in math so far?

Although public schools are more prepared than last spring, large class sizes and fluctuating plans for returning to the classroom make it difficult for them to meet students’ educational needs. Fairfax Collegiate’s Math Essentials classes are a perfect way to ensure your child has a stable and reliable place to continue learning math. This session includes classes for 3rd through 8th graders.

Each class meeting includes lessons, individual practice, one-on-one coaching, enrichment, and math games. Curriculum is always aligned to Virginia’s math standards, so you can be confident that the correct topics are being taught. All students receive an individual, written progress report that demonstrates their growth.

Do you have a neighbor or friend who could also use some math support? We are offering a Group Signup Discount for these classes (10% for 2 families, 15% for 3 families, 20% for 4 or more families). Please send an email to registrar@fairfaxcollegiate.com to take advantage of the discount.

Over 1,000 students completed Fairfax Collegiate online math courses this past spring and summer. Our 6-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio allows students to receive individualized attention and instruction after completing a diagnostic assessment. Our instructors are experienced educators dedicated to helping students with their specific needs in math.

Available Class Sections:

Start by choosing the class that matches the math class your child is taking in school. We will then send you a diagnostic test and use the results to place your child into a small group that focuses on the exact level of math they need.

Math Essentials 3-4
for students taking 3rd or 4th grade math in school

Fairfax Collegiate Write | Discuss | Revise is a program of premium online writing courses. Each Write | Discuss | Revise course provides challenging content, direct instruction in writing, weekly reading and writing assignments, and individual writing conferences with the teacher. Write | Discuss | Revise is for students who seek to go beyond what they are learning at school and take their reading and writing to the next level.
