澳门新增三冠病确诊病例

澳门今天（4日）新增三起冠病确诊病例，其中两名病患来自中国大陆，另一人来自越南。

澳门冠病感染应变协调中心在官网上公布，两名中国大陆患者是装修工人，曾在一起工作，其中一人是46岁的男病患，9月26日前往澳门后便留在澳门，曾在9月28及30日接受核酸检测，结果为阴性，今天经核酸检测结果呈阳性后确诊。患者在4月17日及6月10日于澳门接种两剂国药灭活疫苗。

另一个是居住在澳门的52岁男病患，曾在9月26日及30日接受核酸检测，结果也呈阴性。他被列为46岁病患的密切接触者，今天经核酸检测结果为阳性后确诊。患者在7月3日及8月3日于澳门接种两剂国药灭活疫苗。

第三名患者为40岁越南籍男子，曾到上述两名患者工作的单位工作。他在9月25日接受核酸检测，结果为阴性。他被列为52岁男病患的密切接触者，今天经核酸检测结果为阳性后确诊。他曾在9月15日在澳门接种一剂国药灭活疫苗。

澳门官方在出现新确诊病例后宣布，今晚9时至10月7日晚上9时进行全民核酸检测。

MACAU reports 73rd confirmed Covid-19 case, colleague of previous case

Health authorities have confirmed the discovery of the city’s 73rd Covid-19 case, as the city prepares for a third mass testing round.

The new case is a 52-year-old male mainland renovation worker, and a colleague of the 72nd case also revealed today. Both men worked in the same Son Lei Building in Iao Hon.

The man has tested negative on September 26 and 30, but since he was listed as a close contact of the 72nd case he was tested again today and the result came back positive.

The pandemic prevention centre stated that the patient has no symptoms and has been taken to the Alto de Coloane Clinical Center for further diagnosis and treatment.

Macau completed a three-day round of mass population testing on September 28, after detecting an infected traveller coming from Turkey and several related cases, having tested nearly 690,000 people, all with negative results.

At that time, however, the authorities detected seven more cases, in addition to the first diagnosed traveller: six security guards in hotels where mandatory quarantines are carried out for those arriving in the territory and another traveller, from Hong Kong, who was already infected.

The cases led Zhuhai to impose a 14-day quarantine on anyone entering the Chinese city via Macau on September 26, with a partial easing of the restriction scheduled for today cancelled after the new confirmed case was discovered.

The immediate state of emergency, decreed in the last outbreak, on September 25, remains in force, the health authorities further explained.

Vaccination against covid-19 was also suspended during the mass testing drive, set to last until 9:00pm of October 7.
