We hope you’re having a great week, and are getting ready for the weekend ahead. Summer is approaching, and before you dip your toes in the sand, we wanted inform you about some exciting updates and announcements here at APLUS!
2024 Summer Camp
We are looking forward to our summer camp this year! We have our classic Math and Critical Reading/Writing enrichment classes as well as our popular SAT preparation courses to choose from (SAT Summer Camp, SAT Prep, & SAT Boot Camp). In addition, we recently added some new classes to our Summer PM Camp offerings that you will definitely want to check out!
If you haven’t been able to sign your student up for a summer program course, now is the time. Our first summer camp session will begin on June 24th! Click the link below to register your student(s)!

2024 Virtual Summer Open House
Our Virtual Summer Open House will be hosted on 4/25 at 7:00pm via Zoom for all interested parents and students. This is a chance to learn more about our upcoming courses and to ask the important questions. Please RSVP below so we know to expect you!
Executive Functioning Coaching with Mrs. Jocelyn Park
We are officially at the end of the third marking period. Do you know where your student stands? Are you noticing that he/she is struggling to meet deadlines or set goals? Or perhaps he/she is studying for hours, but is still not prepared for exams. If this sounds familiar, your student may be struggling with Executive Functioning, a set of skills that are required for meeting goals, planning ahead, and staying focused. JUNE SAT Prep
We are pleased to announce that our next SAT Prep Course will start April 17th. The course will be hybrid with both in-person Saturday lectures and Zoom study halls (test reviews and Q&A) with two of our esteemed teachers, Ms. Kay and Mr. Chris. About Us
Since 1998, APLUS Education, located in Rockville, Maryland, USA, has been providing quality educational programs for 3rd to 12th grade students to enhance their academics. What makes us different from other learning centers is a group of certified professional teachers whose extensive experience and commitment has helped students excel.
Our Programs
APLUS offers a wide spectrum of enrichment programs, including Math workshops, Writing workshops, Math Olympiad, etc. Most enrichment courses run 16 weeks in Fall and Spring semesters, respectively.
Enrichment
APLUS was founded in 1998 to provide a first-rate supplemental education to students with high aspirations. The APLUS program is best known for its (1) highly qualified teachers, (2) small class size, and (3) advanced curricula. Courses are offered year-round and include elementary mathematics, pre-algebra, geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, pre-calculus, critical reading and writing, grammar, and writing workshops.
Academic Summer Camp
APLUS was founded in 1998 to provide a first-rate supplemental education to students with high aspirations. The APLUS program is best known for its (1) highly qualified teachers, (2) small class size, and (3) advanced curricula. Courses are offered year-round and include elementary mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Critical Reading and Writing, Grammar, Writing Workshops, SAT and PSAT prep, private school entrance prep (ISEE or SSAT), and magnet school and private school prep.
Test Prep (3rd/5th/8th Grade/SAT/ACT)
Our Test Prep classes are designed to help students hone their test-taking skills and strategies and prepare themselves for the different testing situations that they may encounter throughout their academic career. Classes include mock tests, test reviews, and opportunities to practice various types of test questions. Through targeted practice, students are able to build their confidence and achieve optimal test results.
Tutoring
We understand that every student has unique academic needs, and these cannot be addressed with a “one-size-fits- all” model of instruction. At APLUS Tutoring, your child will receive individual attention from one of our many knowledgeable, experienced, and professional tutors. Sessions are tailored to your child’s specific needs, where academic growth and intrinsic motivation are fostered.
