A型肝炎大爆发 FDA调查：病源疑「超市草莓」

联邦食品暨药物管理局(FDA)正在调查目前在美加地区流行的A型肝炎感染源，初步结果显示似与沃尔玛(Walmart)等大型连锁超市贩售的新鲜有机草莓有关，有在贩售疑似感染源草莓的超市包含多个大型知名品牌；FDA呼吁消费者将3月5日至4月25日间买的草莓丢弃。
FDA指出，目前在美国流行的A型肝炎已有17例，其中12名病患重症入院，加拿大则报告10起病例，其中四起入院治疗；患者的共通点是曾在3月5日至4月25日间，在沃尔玛、艾尔迪(Aldi)、HEB、克罗杰(Kroger)、塞夫威(Safeway)、维斯超市(Weis Markets)、Trader Joe’s等多个超市买进FreshKampo或HEB自有品牌的草莓，因此呼吁上述期间内有买这两种牌子草莓的消费者应尽速丢弃。
FDA说：「在加州与明尼苏达州的A肝患者，曾在发病前购买FreshKempo或HEB的草莓。」
对于被指草莓产品可能是A肝致病源，总部位于德州的HEB迅速发表声明自清，指出「FDA正在调查相关案例，但不论是HEB或德州当地，都没有A型肝炎病毒的相关报告，本公司自4月16日起也没有接受卫生单位就A肝病毒的询问，我们的草莓安全无虞，请消费者安心食用。」
FreahKempo则回应，正与FDA合作，调查自家产品究竟是否为A肝致病源；同时强调可能受影响的商品上印有「墨西哥产品」(Product of Mexico)或是「由Meridien Foods分销」(Distributed by Meridien Foods)的字样，呼吁民众留意，若家里买的水果包装盒上印有这两种字样之一，最好丢掉或至商店办理退货。
据联邦疾病防治中心(CDC)数据，A型肝炎是传染性疾病，可能通过空气与受污染的水源或食物传播，不过大多数患者症状轻微，多能自动康复，且只要痊愈或打疫苗就能获得A型肝炎终身免疫力，因此在美国因A肝死亡的机会非常低。
拉拢亚裔 好市多卖家乡味

如果在好市多卖场看到榴梿和四川辣酱，不要太过惊讶，这是该公司积极拉拢亚裔顾客的手段，而且很可能其他零售业者不久之后也会跟进。
亚裔消费者通常只会在少数种族杂货店和亚洲连锁超市如H Mart、99 Ranch Market和Patel Brothers等找到家乡食品。但在全球最大零售商之一看到这些产品却是很少见的。
亚裔是美国成长最快的族群。根据市场研究公司Numerator的数据，亚裔约占美国人口的7%，但却占好市多购物者的11.9%。
好市多在亚裔美国消费者中的主导地位，预示着这家仓储式零售商的长期成长轨迹是个好兆头，并且在零售业随着美国的多元化发展而对其他零售商产生影响。
消费者情报公司NielsenIQ多元化计划负责人格拉汉(Kymberly Graham)表示：「对于亚裔来说，他们的人口成长速度肯定会让人产生这样的想法：他们将创造重大的市场转变。只要需求得到满足，那么对于为他们提供服务的任何人来说，含金量都会非常高。」
亚裔的人口和购买力快速成长，成为零售商的强大消费群。根据皮尤研究中心的数据，从2000年到2019年，美国亚裔人口成长了81%，而总体人口增长16%。亚裔的家庭收入中位数在美国最高，但群体内部的经济差距也是全美最大。
根据NielsenIQ的数据，亚裔消费者尚未开发的销售潜力达到130亿元。
NielsenIQ发现，平均而言，亚裔的购物习惯与其他消费者不同。亚裔家庭人口往往比美国家庭多，因此更有可能大量购买并寻求便宜货。因此，亚洲消费者在仓储俱乐部购物的可能性是美国普通消费者的两倍多。
好市多拒绝直接评论与亚洲顾客有关的库存和消费者策略。仅强调其一贯的采购理念就是：研究市场，确定会员感兴趣的产品种类，并就优质产品和服务进行谈判，以获得最佳进货折扣。

好事多(COSTCO)为更强化网购市场，趁着复活节假期4月14日至16日3天，推出买150元送50活动，有会员资格的民众千万不要错过。首先要从https://www.costco.com/same-day.html这个专页进入，一般的官网是没有这个优惠的。最重要的是在结帐时一定要键入Promo code:「EASTER22」，否则无法抵扣50元。
本项促销只限上Costco官网购物而不是现场采购，采购项目也几乎与现场商品一样多记者已经实际操作并且获得优惠。从结帐单据看本项优惠免运费，但是系统会建议给5%的小费，也就是说以买不超过200元的商品，还是可以省下超过40元的费用。
Costco这次的活动也动员了全体员工，记者在下午2时下单后，选择下午4时送达，过程中就会收到系统通知送货进度。结果订的商品真的不到下午4时，由专人开着自用车送到。

Costco is offering $50 off of a $150 purchase made on sameday.costco.com by using the code EASTER22 at checkout. You can combine multiple items in the cart in order to receive the discount, so long as the total is at least $150 after tax.
While not all items available in-store are available on the sameday site, it’s not just groceries either. It seems like most products besides giftcards and alcohol can be used with the discount. This is an easy win that’s worth checking out.

Quick Thoughts
Looking through the sameday Costco site, I was surprised by all of the included items. Most of the Airpods/pads, computers, TV’s and clothing that’s in stock at my local store is available…and it looked like the in-store discounts were all stacking with the $50 off. You can have as many items as you want in the cart, so long as the total exceeds $150.
There is no delivery fee, so this seems like an easy win if you’re a Costco member. Costco is still on Point debit for 5% cashback, so use it if you got it.

About the Author
