2022 Fall/Spring Virtual Open House

Hello Parents and Students!

Is your student a highly gifted rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grader?

Does he or she seem bored at school?

Does he or she want more intellectual stimulation?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then join us for our final virtual open house for prospective students interested in our GT Math & Humanities Program for the 2022-23 academic school year on Saturday, July 30 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. This program is being offered to highly gifted students in grades 6-8. For more details, please refer to our One-Page Prospectus.

Our GT Humanities Director, Mrs. Ashley Moss-Pham, as well as APLUS Executive Director, Mrs. Jocelyn Park, will be giving a brief presentation about the program and answering any questions you may have.

Please note we will also be hosting a free online admissions test for students this weekend. Click here to RSVP for the admissions test and our staff will be sending the link on Friday.

About Us

Since 1998, Aplus learning Center, located in Rockville, Maryland, USA, has been providing quality educational programs for 3rd to 12th grade students to enhance their academics. What makes us different from other learning centers is a group of certified professional teachers whose extensive experience and commitment has helped students excel.

Our Programs

APLUS offers a wide spectrum of enrichment programs, including Math workshops, Writing workshops, Math Olympiad, etc. Most enrichment courses run 16 weeks in Fall and Spring semesters, respectively.

Enrichment

APLUS was founded in 1998 to provide a first-rate supplemental education to students with high aspirations. The APLUS program is best known for its (1) highly qualified teachers, (2) small class size, and (3) advanced curricula. Courses are offered year-round and include elementary mathematics, pre-algebra, geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, pre-calculus, critical reading and writing, grammar, and writing workshops.

Academic Summer Camp

APLUS was founded in 1998 to provide a first-rate supplemental education to students with high aspirations. The APLUS program is best known for its (1) highly qualified teachers, (2) small class size, and (3) advanced curricula. Courses are offered year-round and include elementary mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Critical Reading and Writing, Grammar, Writing Workshops, SAT and PSAT prep, private school entrance prep (ISEE or SSAT), and magnet school and private school prep.

Test Prep (3rd/5th/8th Grade/SAT/ACT)

Our Test Prep classes are designed to help students hone their test-taking skills and strategies and prepare themselves for the different testing situations that they may encounter throughout their academic career. Classes include mock tests, test reviews, and opportunities to practice various types of test questions. Through targeted practice, students are able to build their confidence and achieve optimal test results.

Tutoring

We understand that every student has unique academic needs, and these cannot be addressed with a “one-size-fits- all” model of instruction. At APLUS Tutoring, your child will receive individual attention from one of our many knowledgeable, experienced, and professional tutors. Sessions are tailored to your child’s specific needs, where academic growth and intrinsic motivation are fostered.
