The Concord Review / John Locke Competition Workshop
The Corcord Review成立于1987，是一个面向高中学生的学术杂志，内容以历史题材为主，包括古代，近代，美国或其他国家的历史。
The Corcord Review对入选论文有非常高的标准和要求，在同学和家长中有良好的口碑。由于其发表的研究论文的高质量高水平，长期以来获选学生多被顶尖学校录取。
John Locke Essay Competition 每年都举办各种题材的写作竞赛，吸引了来自世界各地高中学生。学生们在这些写作竞赛和研究论文的参与和写作过程中，可以学到很多在高中课堂学不到，或学得很有限的知识和方法。而这些知识和方法不但对当前的高中学习大有助益，对将来的大学学习和以后的工作也很有帮助，这也是为什么名牌大学录取办公室的认可学生在这些竞赛和论文写作方面成绩的原因。
KEC Academy的The Concord Review / John Locke Competition workshop将系统地讲授历史题材文章竞赛和论文写作的知识、结构和方法，介绍历史研究的基本现状、方式和风格，帮助学生扩展思路，学习收集和鉴别参考资料的方法和技巧，培养自己的逻辑思维和批判性思维能力，锻炼分析和综合研究的能力，增进文章组织和表达能力。
在本课程中，学生们根据自己的喜爱，通过头脑风暴和与教师讨论，确定自己的历史题目，在老师指导下，学会收集、整理、分析、研究相关历史资料，逻辑清晰、有说服力地写出自己的观点，提出自己的意见、观点、分析、评论等等。有意愿的学生可以把自己写的文章或论文提交给杂志或参加竞赛（不限于The Concord Review / John Locke Competition），或用来申请其它项目，比如高水平的暑期学术夏令营。

纽约大学 历史博士
作为一名教授，Dr. Ali对教学有着非常透彻的理解、耐心和热情。 他曾在包括纽约大学在内的四所大学教授大学历史、人文类课程 15 年。 他在各个大学所设计的课程都非常受大学生欢迎（课程评价均为4.9/5以上），是屡获各种殊荣的教育家。Dr. Ali曾在美国教育部、富尔布莱特基金、联合国教育组织、以及其它国际机构任顾问。同时， Dr. Ali也是著名作家，是《华尔街日报》的畅销书作者，并发表过多篇论文。
多年来，Dr. Ali还为 6-12 年级学生和大学生提供阅读、写作、各种人文学科、社会科学学科和外语方面的课程及竞赛辅导。 Dr. Ali 指导的学生在 Concord Review, Fulbright, Marshall Scholarship, John Locke Competition, Harvard Law Review 等知名学术杂志上发表论文或获得奖项。
他喜欢混合不同种类的媒体及其工具，如新闻文章、在线采访、照片幻灯片、视频剪辑等，以创造一种独特的方式来帮助学生对所讨论学习的主题产生多方面的兴趣和理解。

- 各科大学课程标准考试 （AP）（包括，生物，化学，美国历史，微积分，物理等科目）
- 各项文课类、数学和科学类的竞赛和学术研究（如Scholastic 写作竞赛，纽约时报写作竞赛，John Locke 写作竞赛，Concord Review, 以及Data Mining和Math Modeling 等等）
- 大学申请（特别是大学主文书和次文书）

KEC Academy is a highly recognized New Jersey registered educational services provider and was founded in 2003.

- Competition classes, and academic research classes (such as Scholastic Writing Contest, NYT Writing Contests, John Locke Writing Contest, Concord Review, Data Mining, Math Modeling, etc.) allowing our students to have great opportunities to achieve excellent scores and win state, national awards, which prepares them with outstanding portfolios.
*In addition to group lessons, we also provide 1-on-1, 2-on-1 tutoring white glove concierge instruction at affordable pricing.
