If you are still looking for someone to help you with college admissions here is an individual who is excellent in this type of work. He has partnerships with boarding schools, colleges all over US, Spain and Europe. Highly recommended.

We thought a lot about this as we helped our eldest with college admissions. For us, the main criteria was to find someone who had worked in a decision making capacity in the Admissions Offices at one of the competitive colleges that my daughter was interested in. I just think that there is no substitute for first-hand knowledge of the process. This led us to three consultants that I’d recommend (see below).
I’d also recommend two books in particular. They have similar names but are very different:

Ivywise
Meg Caddeau

Ivywise is probably the most well known and highly regarded college consultants out there. Many of their staff worked in Admissions Offices including Meg who was former Asst Dean of Admissions at Princeton. Keep in mind, however, that their prices are high.
Boston Academic

Boston Academic is perhaps less well known than Ivywise. But their top person, Angela Um, held senior positions in the Admissions offices of Harvard and MIT. Their pricing is similar to Ivywise.
Expert College Consulting
Rod Bugarin
This one is definitely out of left field but it’s the one we chose. Like the others, Rod held several positions at Admissions Offices of top schools – Columbia, Brown, Wesleyan. He also used to work at Ivywise, the consultant mentioned earlier. But unlike the other consultants, Rod’s company is much smaller. It’s basically him. But we found that advantageous in terms of his focus and his pricing. I’d highly recommend him.
